Types and Application of Rotary Shear Machine
Rotary Shear machine is used to horizontal cut rolled pieces. There are many types of Rotary Shear Line machine can be divided into Double Crank Turn machine and Single Crank Turn machine. Rotary Shear machine function is similar with cutting machine. Different type of Rotary Shear machine have different uses.
1. According to the cutting material classification
There are two type of rotary shear machine, which are Double Crank Turn machine and Single Crank Turn machine. Double Crank Turn machine can used to cut those dimensionless and low temperature head and tail of rolled pieces. This can lower the crash and avoid steel stuck in the rolled process.
Single Crank Rotary Shear machine structure: single swing, cut from bottom to top. The shear work level is divided into two parts: the upper blade and the lower blade. The lower blade is embedded in the upper blade, the guide surface is copper plate, and the guide gap is adjusted by oblique deed. The upper knife frame is constrained in the box frame through the 4 pay linear guide rail, and the turn turns for a week, and the shear position completes the up and down shear and reciprocating translation motion. The upper blade is rectangular, and the lower blade is V-shaped. The upper blade is fixed, the lower blade is mounted on the lower holder through the adjustable holder, and the shear gap is changed by adjusting the position of the holder. The Single Crank Turn Rotary Shear machine mainly used for continuous casting flying cutting edge, continuous rolling flying cutting edge, hot forging flying cutting edge, open billet fly cutting edge, and other cutting flying cutting edge in high temperature in the intermediate process, all kinds of plate close to room temperature, flying shear cutting edge, flying shear cutting edge with flying cutting edge, wire cutting edge.
2. According to the uses of the Rotary Shear machine
The Rotary Shear machine can be categorize into two types, which are Cut-Head Rotary Shear machine and Fixed Length Rotary Shear machine. The Cut-Head Rotary Shear machine can be used for educational purpose. The Disc Rotary Shear machine normally used in small rolled steel workshop. The disadvantage of Disc Rotary Shear machine is the incision is oblique, but this didn’t much infect to cut-head or rough cutting and rolling of the work-piece before the cooling bed is not significant. The Disc Rotary Shear machine has simple structure and reliable, the rotary shear speed can reach 10 m/s and above.
The Rolling Rotary Shear machine is widely used in rotary shear steel and stainless steel. The disadvantage of Rolling Rotary Shear machine is when cutting the thick material the incision will incomplete, this brings great impact when cutting thin material.
The Crank Turning Lever Rotary Shear machine have a more straight incision. Can use oblique knife to cut the steel, to decrease the strength of shear. The disadvantage of the Crank Turning Lever Rotary Shear machine is its structure too complicate, the shear mechanism not smooth, and the knife working speed can’t too fast. Normally the Crank Turning Lever Rotary Shear machine is used to shear thicker steel plate or billets.
Sometimes the Pendulum Rotary Shear machine will used in the continuous steel rolled machine. The disadvantage of the Pendulum Rotary Shear machine can only cut a stationary rolled piece.
4. According to structure of Rotary Shear machine
According to the structure of Rotary Shear machine, in particular, Rotary Shear machine is main structured by transmission mechanism, shear mechanism, shear length adjustment mechanism, and flank blade adjustment mechanism.
Application of Rotary Shear machine
Rotary Shear machine have increase the speed of rolled. The Rotary Shear machine can insert at the line of continuous rolled device, horizontal rotary shear line, continuous galvanized line and the continuous tin-plating line. The Rotary Shear machine can cut the rolled pieces into fixed-length or cut-head and cut-tail only. The Rotary Shear machine is continuous upgraded and getting widely use. The Rotary Shear machine used to cut the head and tail of the rolled pieces to keep the best quality of it. Before the rolled pieced enter the machine, the head and tail of rolled pieces have disadvantage or temperature of steel too low, so need the Rotary Shear machine to cut the head and tail of the rolled pieces to keep the quality. When the rolled pieces have problems in the machine, the Rotary Shear machine will instantly stop and cut the rolled pieces through transmission device.
